FAQ
Where do I put the floricus in the pot?
Basically, the Floricus should be placed where the water is needed, namely as close as possible to the root ball.
Can I also use the Floricus outside?
Yes you can. We paint it with boat varnish so that it is protected from splashing water. However, since the paint is attacked by environmental influences such as UV light, its durability is more limited than when it is used indoors.
Do I have to change the batteries at some point?
Since the Floricus is not powered by batteries but by capacitors, nothing needs to be changed. The capacitors are charged again and again by the solar field.
How long do I have to wait for my order?
Our orders are handed over to the post office the next morning during the week. At the weekend, the orders are collected and dispatched on Monday morning. After that, it usually takes 1-2 working days to receive the shipment.
Can I also use the Floricus for cacti?
Yes, the 'Sahara' model is particularly suitable for this. Plants that like it dry are well equipped with it.
How big is the Floricus?
The dimensions of the Floricus are 195 mm x 14 mm x 6.4 mm.
Can the Floricus also be used for hydroponics?
The Floricus was developed for absorbent substrates and works best in soil and mixtures with it. For hydroponics, there are special watering indicators that you are better off with.
Help, my floricus isn't blinking. What can I do?
It is possible that the solar field was not supplied with sufficient light. This can especially happen in very shady corners, but it is not a cause for concern. Just stand the plant by the window until the LEDs start blinking again.
